| REQUIREMENTS |
| UP students, either graduate or undergraduate, non-UP
students, researchers, and visitors may use the UPPI
library. There are no fees required for non-UP
students, researchers, or private individuals. |

| Since the library maintains a closed shelf system,
a valid ID is required for borrowing books. A
borrower's card is required if you want to borrow books
for overnight (in reserved section) or for at most 2
weeks (in circulation section). |

| PRIVILEGES |
| UP undergraduate students may borrow a maximum of 5
books at a time while graduate students may borrow 10
books, both for a period of 2 weeks. Reserved books
are for overnight use only and may be taken after 3 p.m.
and must be returned no later than 9 a.m. the following
day. |

| Non-UP students/personnel are only allowed to use
the books in the reading room. |

| Most of the materials available deal with Demography,
population, and other related issues or topics such
as fertility, migration, urbanization, aging, family
planning, and the like. |
| |
| The library has an estimated total of 4,200 books, 12,700
serial articles, 300 vertical file entries, 3,963
technical papers, and 96 thesis & dissertation titles
(from UPPI students and faculty). |
